AI Product Leader · Builder · Operator

Product leadership for the AI era.

Strategy · Prototyping · Shipping with frontier LLMs and agentic tooling

I'm Steve Ike, founder of emx.dev. I help teams turn frontier AI from a what-if into products that earn their place in someone's day.

Most days I'm doing one of four things: framing the right bet, prototyping it before the deck, building real products hands-on with coding agents, or unblocking the team shipping the next version. The models change every week — the work of judgment, taste, and shipping doesn't.

01 Work

Selected work

Live products and an internal workflow — proof that AI product leadership is at its best when the leader can still ship. Each one solves a narrow problem well, then gets iterated in public.

  • My Daily Grace

A daily rhythm for encouragement and reflection — designed so showing up is the easy part. AI in the background, calm on the surface; the kind of consumer product where the model is invisible and the habit is what people remember.

  • TestFlight stillbloom.app

    StillBloom

An AI photo and video studio for iPhone — capture, create, animate. Turn a single still into AI art with curated styles and custom prompts, or animate it into cinematic video with motion, voice, and sound. A bet that the most useful AI consumer products feel like a camera, not a chat.

  • In development sourcewatch.app

    Sourcewatch

An LLM-powered radar for the sources you trust: changes, releases, and signals summarized in one place, so leaders spend less time refreshing feeds and more time on decisions. Opinionated defaults, fast scanning, export when you need it.

  • In progress

    Cursor site builder

An internal agentic workflow for spinning up production-ready sites from a chat. Describe the change, and the agent edits HTML and CSS right here — no framework lock-in, deploy anywhere static. A small proof of how I think about agent-led tooling. ike.life is itself one of these builds.

02 Approach

How I lead

Operating principles

Strategy lives in the prototype. I'd rather hand a team a working v0 than a 30-page deck — agentic tooling, frontier LLMs, and a single readable codebase keep that loop tight. Shipping beats polishing in the dark.

What to expect

Narrow scope, sharp copy, and interfaces that respect attention. I think a lot about where AI belongs in a product — and, just as often, where it doesn't. The clearest signal of how I work is on @steve_ike_.
